PERSPECTIBILITY

Through a varied path that touches schools in rural Uganda, community services in Palestinian refugee camps, after school programs in US urban centers, and higher education policy reform making equity and access available to all, my journey has been about building perspective. As a child I was the one to sit by the new kid in class; as a teen I traveled the country with my family and told tales of my experiences in the school newspaper; as an adult I made it my mission to stretch and expand life experiences for myself, my children, and others for the sake of growing in understanding.

 

What I found is that beyond the way we dress, the language we speak, or the way we choose to gather for a shared meal--when all cultural factors and biases are removed--there is this shared humanity that makes us all want to do our best, play our parts well, and thrive alongside the people we care about most.

 

Sharing stories from across the country and around the world shaped my professional career as it spurred me on to desire equity, inclusion, opportunity and access for all--to level the playing field across time zones and zip codes and cultures.

 

Understanding is the first act of caring, and with that I share with you Perspectibility, my professional drive to come alongside mission-driven organizations to help them establish and excel in meeting their goals.

 

My professional mission is helping partnerships, programs, and people thrive through effective strategy. I do this by
 

• helping identify opportunities and building solutions to meet organizational need,

• leading teams and executives in unleashing potential through creative brainstorming,

• idea sharing,

• building powerful plans, and

• creating clear critical paths to implementation.
   

With a background in

- streamlining grassroots efforts to make them scalable and sustainable,

- collaborating within and leading executive administration,

- building powerful programs,

- meaningful team training,

- individualized success coaching,

- strategic implementation,

- listening empathetically to understand,

and combining that with three years of experience leading within the Truly Human Leadership movement, I work with individuals, nonprofits, corporations and teams to unleash the best they have to offer.

 

I don't just teach it, I live it, too. A recent pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago, in the fall of 2021 I hiked solo through the mountains of Spain to understand perseverance, grit, potential, resilience, courage and the power of optimistic promise within myself. Now, I help unleash it in others.

 

As a dedicated single parent launching two thriving sons, organizational development consultant, and author taking others along on the journey with me, I apply these principles in my career, home, friendships, family, and community service. I look forward to coming alongside you and your team to collaboratively build effective strategy, dynamic outcomes, and a brave, resilient, thriving culture.
